Concertino for flute and strings »Pour le temps passé« was written in 1988 by Slovenian composer Peter Kopač. Few fragments of concertino are drafts from his student days. The title has two meanings: reminiscence of carefree student time and recollection of temps passé in music history, shown in style the composer used by creating this piece of music. In the time of his study on Academy of Music in Ljubljana, in 70's of previous century, in the time of "ultra modernism," his composition style, used in concertino, would be refused by his teachers and explains the style which composer used. The composition was recorded in 1991 by concert flutist Aleš Kacjan accompanied by String Orchestra SF with Marko Letonja as conductor (Archives of Radio Slovenia). Second movement, Romance, appears as independent score (arranged for piano accompaniment) and is one of most frequent performed Slovene compositions for flute. This Romance is inseparably connected with today's soloist Ana Kavčič Pucihar, as she was one of the first performers when she played it at the competition of young musicians of Slovenija and ex Yugoslavia in 1991. Romance was performed in many European states, also in USA (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle, Iowa, Washington).
