Road Trip, Chapter 3.

3. I looked outside, still searching. We were in the next, neighboring city but apparently this place has no parks or fields. Not even a nice patch of grass where we can sit. It's completely destroying my plan. "I'm hungry," Molly complained. "It's okay babe, I'll feed you," Nick says, before winking. Errgh, disgusting. I think I just gagged a little. Who does he think he is, some kind of superhero or something? "And how are you going to manage that?" Molly teased. "Like this," I didn't hear any more conversation, they must be making out. Well, whatever. I can get with Annabelle, right? Yeah, then we can make out all we like. "There's no where to eat." I said. "Well, if we had stuck to Starbucks, we wouldn't be in this situation," Kevin replied. I turned the corner, and that's when I saw an open car park. "There, let's have a picnic in there!" I said, and reversed the car into it. We all got out and everybody's face was solid as a brick. "Wow, the enthusiasm is overwhelming," I joke. "I refuse to eat in this crappy little place," Molly says. "Well then don't." I opened the boot and arranged the food out, in there. There wasn't much, but it would all be worth it. "Ok, so let's eat." I say, taking a biscuit and pouring myself a glass of coke. Eventually, the others came and we all shared the meal together. It wasn't bad, and our conversation flow was light and pleasant. That was until, it started spitting rain. We just ignored it, I mean, it was barely any rain at all. However, not too soon after, it started pouring. Literally. The rain seemed to scream down from the clouds, moving fast at a pace of rage. Then, it would slap the ground with so much force, it would hurt our ears. "This is going great, isn't it?" Nick said, to Kevin. "What?" "It's going great!" "I can't hear you!" "NOTHING." Alexa was the first to get back into the truck. We all followed her in and sat down, in silence. Well apart from the thunderous rain. My clothes were drenched. My hair was getting curly and my white shoes were muddy. Annabelle was sitting in the passenger seat, next to me. She was soaked too, but it made her look hot. Then, I looked down and saw what she was wearing. A white shirt. A-now-transparent white shirt, due to the rain. Crap. Do not look down. Do not look down. Do not look do-. "What's wrong Joe?" she asked. -- 15+ comments? I might post again tonight, but no promises. I'm in a good mood because my cousin from America came to visit. & ohmygosh, what do you guys think of Michael Jackson situation?
